Connect ElevenLabs
An ElevenLabs connection lets your org use its own ElevenLabs account for voice and sound, so ElevenLabs bills you directly. It is your org's. See Connections for how connecting works in general.
Ways to connect
ElevenLabs is connected with Add a key only: an API key from ElevenLabs' API keys settings.
Making the key
- Open the link above, signed in to the ElevenLabs account that should pay.
- Create an API key, copy it, and paste it into Add a key on the Connections page.
GreenMind checks the key by asking ElevenLabs whose it is. No scopes are asked for. If you restrict the key's permissions when you make it, leave it able to read your user information and to make the audio you want to use it for.
What it is used for
The connection offers one thing: making audio. Game Designer uses it to generate audio for a game.
The fallback setting
The connection has a setting to fall back to GreenMind's own key, off unless you turn it on. With it on, when your key cannot be used, GreenMind may answer on its own key instead of refusing, at GreenMind's price. With it off, the request fails and you fix the key.
If it goes wrong
- ElevenLabs does not accept the key. It was mistyped or deleted. Make a new one and Reconnect.
- Requests fail when you have used up your allowance. Your plan's limits are ElevenLabs'; raise them there.
